Martial and Pogba return Predicted Man United line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Everton

Manchester United are scheduled to host Everton in tonight’s Premier League clash at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils recently registered a stunning 9-0 triumph over Southampton to end their two-match winless league streak.

The result should have boosted the confidence within the squad, but they need to stay focused ahead of the Toffees game.

The club have won just one of the previous four league meetings against the Merseysiders and that came earlier this season.

They will be aiming to do the league double over the Toffees for the first time since the 2017/18 campaign.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Line-up:

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is unlikely to stick with the same backline from the previous game. The FA Cup fifth round tie against West Ham United (Tuesday night) could be the game where he may ring in the changes.

David de Gea is expected to feature in goal with Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw making up the four-man defence ahead of him.

In the centre of the park, Paul Pogba could return to the mix after sitting out the 9-0 humbling of Southampton. The Frenchman could accompany Fred, meaning that Scott McTominay may drop to the bench.

Further forward, there could be the solitary change with Anthony Martial replacing Mason Greenwood. Marcus Rashford should switch to the right wing for the Frenchman to feature on the left side of the attack.

Bruno Fernandes has been ever-present for United in the league campaign and it is unlikely that he will be rested. The Portuguese should start in the number 10 spot with Edinson Cavani ahead of him.

Cavani picked up a knock during the first half of the Saints clash, but he is available for the encounter, as confirmed by Solskjaer in the pre-match press conference.
