Tottenham Hotspur To Pay More Than Widely Claimed For Yves Bissouma
Spurs have reached an agreement over a fee with Brighton for the signature of the 25-year-old midfielder this summer.
Bissouma is expected to complete a medical this week and Spurs are expecting no problems in agreeing on personal terms with the player as well.
There are suggestions that the deal to take Bissouma to Spurs is around £25m, but it has been claimed that the total fee is more than the widely claimed figure.
The total fee will exceed the £30m mark if all the add-ons are triggered during his spell in north London. The north London club have agreed to push the envelope in order to land the midfielder this summer. Bissouma has been on Tottenham’s radar since last year and they are now finally on the cusp of signing him. Arsenal and Liverpool considered signing him last summer and Aston Villa failed with a bid to sign the midfielder in January. Bissouma will become the third signing of the summer for Tottenham after they secured deals to bring in Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster.
